The Philadelphia 76ers played host to the Utah Jazz on Sunday and looked to build a winning streak before four days off.
It has been a slow start for this talented bunch as it works through injuries and the addition of new players to the rotation. However, the Sixers produced a win on Sunday thanks to Joel Embiid.
The big fella had an absolutely dominant night: a career-high 59 points on 19-for-28 shooting. He made 20 of his 24 free throws, pulled down 11 rebounds and recorded eight assists. He also tied his career high with seven blocks. It was an all-around, all-time performance for him.
After it was over, injured star teammate James Harden and the rest of NBA Twitter were ablaze over what Embiid did on Sunday night in South Philadelphia.
