The Philadelphia 76ers acquired James Harden from the Brooklyn Nets at the deadline in February looking to team him with Joel Embiid and lead the team on a deep playoff run.
The Sixers ended up bowing out in the second round for the fourth time in five seasons, leading to questions about whether the Harden-Embiid duo was going to be the one to lead Philadelphia to success. There are questions about Harden’s health and a decline he is enduring, but The Beard has been working out all summer and he has a message for the fan base.
At his backpack drive in Houston over the weekend, Harden was asked about his goals for the Sixers in the 2022-23 season and he kept it simple:
Another year to try and win a championship. … Philly know how we coming.
“Another year to try to win a championship”
“Philly know how we comin’”

Harden averaged 21 points, 10.5 assists, and 7.1 rebounds in 21 games with the Sixers after the trade. Those numbers are nothing to dust off, but it was clear he wasn’t the same Beard. After what looks like a productive offseason, he will have a new chance in this upcoming season in Philadelphia.
