James Harden has expressed no interest whatsoever in the stats he’s posted for the Nets since he arrived in Brooklyn, regardless of the outcome of the game. Though, he’d probably be less interested to know what he did statistically on Tuesday, given the Nets’ 122-111 loss to the Detroit Pistons marks their first losing streak (three games) of the 2020-21 season.
Despite the outcome — or Harden says he feels about his numbers — the Brooklyn guard continues to do a bit over everything on the offensive end. Harden posted year another double-double, finishing with 24 points and 12 assists in the loss.
Tuesday’s contest in Detroit is the sixth consecutive game in which Harden has logged 10 or more assists. That’s the longest streak of such games by a Nets player since Jason Kidd in 2002, according to @ESPNStatsInfo.
James Harden currently has 11 assist for the Nets in a game vs the Pistons.
