James Conner, Rondale Moore inactive again for Cardinals

The Cardinals will not have James Conner or Rondale Moore available against the Cowboys.

The Arizona Cardinals will take on the Dallas Cowboys shorthanded offensively this afternoon. Already without left tackle D.J. Humphries after he landed on the COVID list, they will also be without running back James Conner and receiver Rondale Moore.

Both are among the Cardinals’ inactive players. They were both questionable for the game, Conner with a heel injury and Moore with an ankle injury.

Here is the full list of inactive players:

  • RB James Conner
  • WR Rondale Moore
  • CB Marco Wilson
  • DL Jordan Phillips
  • TE Demetrius Harris
  • DL Zach Kerr

All except Kerr are nursing injuries.

With no Conner, we can expect a heavy dose of Chade Edmonds. With no Moore, we will see mostly three receivers (A.J. Green, Christian Kirk and Antoine Wesley) and one tight end, almost always Zach Ertz.

Defensive lineman Zach Allen, who was questionable with an ankle injury, will suit up.

With Marco Wilson out, Byron Murphy, Antonio Hamilton and Kevin Peterson will work at corner.
