Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is a well-known UFC fan given some of the big events he’s shown up to in the past, including a recent one this offseason.
But from the sounds of it, Burrow treats the Bengals locker room a tad like the Octagon too, to the point guys like Ja’Marr Chase keep their heads on a swivel.
Mohammad Ahmad of Cleveland.com caught this fun interaction with Chase early this week: “Fly kicks and punches, you don’t watch UFC? Yeah he does this, this is normal. He does it to everybody. You don’t see this in the locker room? He tries flying knee kicks on me…”
File this under guys being dudes and little else, but it’s a fun peek behind the curtain if true and more affirmation for those outside of the team of the great camaraderie in that locker room.
Here’s a good laugh if you need it. #Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase said that Joe Burrow, who’s a bit UFC fan, will randomly attempt different UFC moves on Chase just for fun. Chase said he’s always prepared.
