There was a lot of talk surrounding the former LSU Tiger to begin his career. It seemed that he was struggling during the preseason but all that talk has been squashed, Ja’Marr Chase is proving his worth as a top 10 pick in the NFL draft. In his first NFL game, he made history as the first-ever Cincinnati Bengal to wear the No. 1 jersey in a regular-season game.
He has added yet another accomplishment just three games into his Bengals career. Against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, Chase hauled in two more touchdown passes from his college teammate Joe Burrow. The Bengals defeated the Steelers 24-10, giving them their second win of the year. The team had just four wins all of last season.
As far as Chase is concerned, he became the first player in the Super Bowl era to record a touchdown of 30 or more yards in each of his first three games. Quite an accomplishment for the former Biletnikoff Award winner at LSU.

Many fans questioned why the Bengals opted for Burrow’s favorite target over selecting a top-tier offensive tackle that was also available. While Penei Sewell would give them help in protection, Cincinnati has an explosive offense with Burrow pulling the trigger to Chase.
The duo has connected on 11 passes for 220 yards and four touchdowns. If the pace continues this season, Chase will have 1,246 yards with 22 touchdowns. That would be one huge rookie season.
