In the second quarter of an eventual AFC North-clinching win over the Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals wideout Ja’Marr Chase had a fun exchange with a defender.
After a pass breakup on a target intended for Chase, Charvarius Ward hit the Griddy, Chase’s touchdown celebration. This, while the Chiefs were cruising in 21-7 fashion.
Two plays later, Chase grabbed an 18-yard-touchdown over Ward’s head in a one-on-one situation and hit a Griddy of his own.
After the game, Chase took to Twitter, saw a highlight that clipped the two plays together and had some quick, simple and effective thoughts for his opponent:
this how you griddy @ https://t.co/i7yHy56xc1

The hilarious thing about Ward’s celebration on a routine pass breakup? The Bengals had seven points at the time of this exchange because Chase juked the entire Chiefs defense on the way to a 72-yard touchdown.
Chase finished the day with a record-breaking 266 yards and three scores.
