Jamal Crawford still sidelined, rule out Game 3 vs. Raptors

The Brooklyn Nets will be down two scoring options in Friday’s crucial Game 3 against the Toronto Raptors.

Nets fans may have to wait for the 2020-21 season to see Jamal Crawford take the floor in a Brooklyn uniform again — assuming he stays with the team beyond the Disney bubble.

The veteran guard has not played in a game since he made his Nets debut on August 4 against the Milwaukee Bucks. Crawford suffered a left hamstring strain that has hampered him since.

Brooklyn once again ruled Crawford out when they released their status report on Thursday for the Nets’ third game of their first-round matchup against the reigning NBA champion Toronto Raptors on Friday.

Joe Harris is the only other player who’ll be unavailable for Brooklyn in Game 3. He left the Disney bubble for a ‘non-medical personal matter’ after Game 2 on Wednesday. The Nets’ sharpshooter will also be unavailable for Game 4 on Sunday.
