Jalen Ramsey suffers knee injury vs. 49ers, returns on next series

Jalen Ramsey injured his knee against the 49ers and is unlikely to return.

UPDATE: Ramsey is back on the field after missing just one series

With Troy Hill out due to a thumb injury, the Rams are already down one starter in the secondary. Now, they could be without their other, too.

Jalen Ramsey suffered a knee injury against the 49ers on Saturday night and was quickly ruled doubtful to return. That’s terrible news for Los Angeles, which is thin at cornerback to begin with.

Ramsey recorded an interception earlier in the game, his first as a member of the Rams. He returned it 13 yards and hit Tevin Coleman with a vicious stiff-arm, but it’s unclear when the injury actually occurred.

He was on the field for the Rams’ next defensive possession before leaving the field and heading to the locker room.
