This offseason could be a painful one for the Los Angeles Rams. Sean McVay’s future is uncertain, which means Aaron Donald’s might be, too. And now there’s Jalen Ramsey posting cryptic messages on social media, seemingly hinting at the possibility that he’s played his last game with the Rams.
Early Friday morning, Ramsey shared a few tweets that suggest he may not know if he’ll be back in Los Angeles.
“It is what it is! It was what it was! If that’s the end, I went out wit a BANG!” Ramsey wrote.
Ramsey did end the season on a high note with two picks against the Seahawks in Week 18, putting together one of his best games of the year. He’s still under contract through 2025, but if the Rams are looking to clear cap space and add draft picks, trading Ramsey could be an option.

Ramsey also shared the following tweets after his initial message. Make of them what you will.

There’s no question Ramsey is one of the best defensive backs in the league, despite not being named a Pro Bowler this year for the first time since he was a rookie in 2016. He finished the year with 88 tackles, four interceptions, two sacks and four tackles for a loss.
If the Rams do trade him, their secondary will look completely different without No. 5 in it – and not in a positive way.
UPDATE (11:44 a.m. ET): Ramsey tells Rams Wire he was not alluding to an impending trade or split with the Rams.
