Jalen Ramsey seemed puzzled by the Rams’ decision to pass on secondary help in the third round, selecting Logan Bruss at No. 104 overall. If he was hoping for a cornerback on Saturday, he got two of them.
The Rams drafted Decobie Durant and also traded for Troy Hill, which has Ramsey thrilled. He tweeted his excitement for getting Hill back in the Rams secondary, sharing two photos of himself and Hill from their time together in L.A.

Ramsey then sent another message welcoming Durant and Hill back to the Rams, and telling fans to blow up Tyrann Mathieu’s mentions because he wants the Honey Badger in the secondary, too.
We makin some secondary moves today, I love it @RamsNFL … Rams fans welcome the Rook & welcome back Troy!… & shid while we at it, blow up @Mathieu_Era mentions 👀

Mathieu is a free agent and can be signed at any time, but the Rams have reason to wait until Monday to sign him – if that’s their plan. On Monday at 4 p.m. ET, free agents no longer count toward the compensatory pick formula, which means they won’t lose a pick by signing Mathieu.
They could simply be waiting until then after previously being linked to the star defensive back. We’ll have to wait and see.
