Jalen Ramsey guarantees he won’t get cut, but traded? ‘Maybe’

Jalen Ramsey knows he won’t get cut, but he won’t deny there’s a chance he could get traded

Rams COO Kevin Demoff was asked this week about the possibility of the team trading Jalen Ramsey at some point this offseason. He didn’t say they are trading him, but he also didn’t rule it out – nor did he rule out a trade of any player on the team.

Well, Ramsey isn’t denying the possibility of being traded, either. On Twitter Thursday night, Ramsey quoted a tweet by Bleacher Report suggesting landing spots if the All-Pro corner is cut. He guaranteed that he won’t be released by the Rams, but he’s not denying that he could get traded.

Here’s Ramsey’s tweet, which he deleted shortly after posting it.

Ramsey amended his tweet with a new version, still guaranteeing he won’t be cut but leaving off the part about being traded.

Ramsey seemed to address the outrageous idea of him being cut, which absolutely isn’t happening. Not only would that cost the Rams $24.6 million in dead money this year, but every team in the NFL would give up something to acquire Ramsey in a trade.

We’ll have to wait and see how this plays out, but there seems to be some smoke coming from this fire.
