Jalen Ramsey, Golden Tate got into a fight on the field after Rams’ win

The two have a history together, as Tate is the uncle to Jalen Ramsey’s two children.

Sunday’s game between the Rams and Giants was a chippy one, with tensions boiling over a couple of times. Aaron Donald and Nick Gates got into a scuffle in the third quarter, but after the game, an even bigger fight broke out.

Jalen Ramsey and Golden Tate were at the center of that one, going at each other after the final whistle during post-game pleasantries. According to those in attendance, Ramsey and Tate walked toward each other on the field and each threw punches at the other before going to the ground.

As it has been reported before, Ramsey has two children with Tate’s sister, but the two broke up last year. Tate said last week that he didn’t appreciate the disrespect Ramsey showed toward his sister.

Although there wasn’t a video of the fight starting, or a good look at what actually happened in the scuffle, this video from the press box shows the pile of players at midfield.

Ramsey and Tate had to be separated by their teammates after the final whistle.

After the fight was broken up and each team went to their respective locker rooms, Ramsey was still on the field pacing back and forth with a member of the Rams’ staff.

Sean McVay said afterwards that he wasn’t sure what happened in the scrum, or what led to it. Jared Goff said the same thing in his postgame interview on FOX.
