Jalen Ramsey celebrates Rams’ victory, and ‘everything else too is a win’

Jalen Ramsey shared a cryptic tweet Monday after his spat with Golden Tate at SoFi Stadium.

Jalen Ramsey was all over the field on Sunday afternoon against the Giants, making five tackles, including one for a loss. But it wasn’t his performance at SoFi Stadium that had everyone talking after the Rams’ 17-9 win. It was his scuffle with Golden Tate that caught the attention of fans and media members.

The two exchanged punches and wrestled to the ground during postgame handshakes on the field, resulting in a big scrum on the L.A. logo. Ramsey went looking for Tate afterwards, too, reportedly waiting outside the Giants’ locker room for the veteran wideout.

Personal issues likely led to the fight after the final whistle, though no one is quite sure exactly what happened; neither Ramsey nor Tate were available to the media. But on Monday morning, Ramsey tweeted that he’s celebrating victory Monday after winning on the field, in life, and with “everything else too.”

Is Ramsey indirectly referring to his fight with Tate as a win? It sure seems that way, but he didn’t directly take a shot at the Giants wide receiver so it’s hard to say with 100% certainty. He and Tate clearly have some bad blood stemming from familial ties between Ramsey and Tate’s sister, and it came to a boil on the field Sunday.

In other, more football-related news, Ramsey also shared an Instagram post Monday hoping to get credit for a half-sack with Ogbonnia Okoronkwo. Ramsey was originally credited with the sack, but it was changed to Okoronkwo, taking away the corner’s first career sack in the NFL.
