Oklahoma’s Jalen Hurts hasn’t gotten out of the college spotlight yet, as he’s already made quite the splash at the Reese’s Senior Bowl.
The Heisman runner up’s helmet that was gifted to him on Monday made national news, as one side features his old school, Alabama, and the other, Oklahoma.
Hurts spent three years at Alabama before transferring to Oklahoma for his final season. Despite his move, tons of fans followed his journey from Tuscaloosa to Norman.
Despite receiving the double-sided helmet, Hurt’s has only been wearing his Oklahoma helmet in practice, Creg Stepheson of AL.com reported, saying “The Alabama/OU combo was just a gift.”

Hurts amassed 7,602 total yards in his three years at Alabama, and led the Crimson Tide to a national title in 2018.
In his one season at Oklahoma, he finished his Heisman campaign with 5,174 yards, finishing second only to LSU’s Joe Burrow for the award.
The Senior Bowl will take place in Mobile, Alabama on Jan. 25 at 1:30 p.m.
