In the news that was obvious and expected, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson announced that Jalen Hurts would remain the teams’ starter for the Week 16 matchup against Dallas.
Hurts completed 24 of 44 passes for 338 yards and three touchdowns – two to Greg Ward and one to rookie Quez Watkins, in the Eagles 33-26 loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
The Eagles rookie signal-caller also outgained Kyler Murray on the ground and showed poise in the face of heavy pressure from the Cardinals defense.
