Jalen Hurts not choosing sides in 2022 MLB World Series

The Houston native QB plays in Philadelphia. He speaks about the predicament with the 2022 MLB World Series.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and Alabama alumni Jalen Hurts was recently asked who he was rooting for in the 2022 MLB World Series. The series will feature the Philadelphia Phillies and Houston Astros.

When asked by the media about which side he would be rooting for, this is what Hurts had to say:

“I’m Houston born and raised. I love my city. That’s my hometown. But my home now is Philly. And I love this city too”

It sounds like Hurts isn’t going to pick a dog in the fight. He is fond of both cities and is welcoming to both teams. Hurts has led the Eagles to a 6-0 record thus far this season. It sounds as if he is focused on representing the city that he is currently in, Philadelphia.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow Hurts’ professional career as well as other former Alabama players in the NFL.
