Jalen Green“s and Kevin Porter Jr.’s continued chemistry, Houston’s spacing and, most importantly, its defense. It’s no secret that teams facing the Rockets know their deficiencies on that end of the floor and repeatedly expose them at every corner, but there’s hope that these few days away were a chance to unwind, refocus and get some of that spark back that had the team at least a league-average unit at the beginning of the season. “I want us to be more cohesive defensively and take it game by game,” Rockets coach Stephen Silas said. “Use these (last) 24 games to try a few new things to see if we can grasp new concepts. But defensively, be a better team over these last 24 games. It’s gonna be up to the group to work to do it and me and my staff to push and prod and make sure that we’re understanding what the concepts are.
