The Jacksonville Jaguars are no strangers to the Pepsi Rookie of the Week Award and that continued to be the case this week. While the team fell short of defeating the Houston Texans, both running back James Robinson and quarterback Jake Luton found themselves on Week 10’s Rookie of the Week ballot.

This week’s appearance makes for the third time Robinson has been on the ballot, as he also was on it Week 2 (against the Tennessee Titans) and Week 4 (against the Cincinnati Bengals). Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to win either time but his third time could be a charm as he was able to garner 99 yards on 25 carries and a touchdown.
As for Luton, Sunday’s game was his debut as Gardner Minshew II was ruled out with a thumb injury. The rookie from Oregon State was able to garner 304 passing yards and a completion percentage of 68.4% on the day. While he there one pick, he also had a touchdown pass to DJ Chark and a rushing touchdown, which put the Jags within a 2-point conversion of tying the game.
Joining the duo of Jaguars were Tua Tagovailoa, Justin Herbert and Jerry Jeudy, all of whom are from the AFC too and offer fierce competition. That said, Jags fans might want to get to work as the poll remains open for multiple votes.
