Jahan Dotson shined in primetime against Indiana

Jahan Dotson’s two touchdowns against Indiana were more than enough for Penn State to top the Hoosiers.

Penn State made it a point to not view this past weekend’s game as a revenge situation against Indiana, and the Nittany Lions are still a far way from worrying about whether or not they should be viewed as a College Football Playoff contender. But a shutout of the Hoosiers provided plenty of reason to celebrate regardless. And once again, the game served as a reminder to just how good Penn State wide receiver Jahan Dotson is. Dotson was our player of the game for the Nittany Lions after scoring a pair of touchdowns against Indiana.

On each of his touchdowns, Dotson exhibited what makes him such a dependable wide receiver for quarterback Sean Clifford. But it was Dotson’s second touchdown that would set a new school record. Clifford and Dotson became the new school leaders in total touchdown connections for a quarterback and receiver, with 18. And the two still have so much more football to play.

Dotson commented after the game about his relationship with Clifford that helped lead to their combined success overall and on that particular touchdown.

Dotson finished the game with 8 catches for 84 yards. Penn State will now get ready to take on Iowa in a battle The undefeated on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. from Iowa.
