The Jacksonville Jaguars are hoping their teal-over-black uniform combination brings more luck in a Week 7 matchup against the New York Giants than it did two weeks earlier against the Houston Texans.
On Wednesday afternoon, the Jaguars announced that they’d wear teal jerseys with black pants for the second time in the three weeks.

In the last game in this combo, the Jaguars offense somehow managed to rack up 422 yards of total offense but not score a touchdown against the Texans in a 13-6 loss. Last year, teal-over-black had an 0-2 record with losses to the Texans and Atlanta Falcons. The combo was 0-1 during the 2020 season.
The Giants wear white pants on a weekly basis and announced their entire uniform schedule in August. The team will wear white jerseys for their road trip to Jacksonville.
The 2-4 Jaguars are a slight favorite over the 5-1 Giants, despite riding a three-game losing streak. Kickoff Sunday is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.
