Two big pieces of news for the Jacksonville Jaguars ahead of Sunday’s visit from Matt LaFleur and the Green Bay Packers: linebacker Foye Oluokun was activated from injured reserve and left tackle Cam Robinson cleared concussion protocol, per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
The availability of Oluokun and Robinson should provide a boost for the Jaguars on both sides of the football.
Oluokun, an accomplished run stopper and coverage linebacker, is returning from a foot injury that cost him the last four games. Over the last two seasons, Oluokun averaged almost 180 tackles per season, and he led the NFL with 184 total tackles during his first season in Jacksonville in 2022. He led the NFL in solo tackles each of the last two years.
In three games to start 2024, Oluokun produced 22 tackles, 1.0 sack, three tackles for loss and two pass breakups.
Robinson, now an 8-year veteran, has started all seven games for the Jaguars at left tackle. If available Sunday as expected, Robinson will make his 92nd career start, all with the Jaguars.
Robinson left last week’s win over the New England Patriots with a concussion. He was listed as questionable on the final injury report, but the Jaguars removed his status designation.
Robinson is the Jaguars’ highest graded offensive lineman at Pro Football Focus in 2024. He’s allowed 15 pressures, including four sacks, and committed three penalties over 365 total snaps.
The Packers and Jaguars are scheduled to kick off from EverBank Stadium on Sunday at noon CT.
