Price, 26, joined the team last October through their practice squad. In late December, he signed a reserve/future contract with the Jags and looked to be a candidate for the practice squad again this regular season.
Russell, 24, was drafted by the Jags in the seventh-round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Auburn. He participated in three games last season and registered four tackles. With the team losing Al Woods due to his decision to opt-out, Russell had a good chance to make the team so hopefully his injury doesn’t keep him down too long.
