Jaguars inactives for preseason finale vs. Cowboys

The Jags will be with out their three starting interior offensive lineman against the Cowboys, as well as their top-2 receivers.

The Jacksonville Jaguars released their list of players who they expect to be inactive for their preseason finale against the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium.

Ordinarily in the regular season, the players who are deemed inactive can’t take part in the game, but in the preseason everyone who is healthy enough to play is at least eligible to take the field.

This week, the Jags will be without three of five starting offensive linemen again. All three of those players are their starting interior linemen. However, offensive tackle Cam Robinson will be able to play after missing last week with an ankle injury.

If Trevor Lawrence takes the field, he will also be without his top-2 receivers in DJ Chark (recovering from finger surgery) and Marvin Jones (AC joint). With that being the case, one would have to feel the Jags won’t play Lawrence too long (if at all) and simply will rely more on practice reps as all the aforementioned players should be back before Week 1 of the regular season.
