As expected, DJ Chark will take the field with his comrades Sunday as he wasn’t listed amongst the team’s seven in active players. That’s certainly good news for the Jags, who will need all their best hands on deck to keep pace with Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons’ high-powered passing game.

Chark missed the Jags’ last game against the Oakland Raiders with an ankle injury he sustained the week prior against the Los Angeles Chargers. It initially looked to be a concerning injury as he left the facility in a boot, however, he resumed running and cutting this past Monday and was limited in practice all week.
Chark’s status is also a big deal because he’s just 44 yards away from 1,000 on the season. If he’s able to hit that number, he’ll be the first receiver to do it since Allen Robinson in did in 2015. He’d also join Robinson as the youngest player to achieve the feat at 23 years of age.
