The Jacksonville Jaguars released their final injury report for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons Friday afternoon, and as suspected, cornerback Shaquill Griffin (concussion) was the lone player to surface in the status column. Everyone else listed on the report was a full participant, including notables like running back James Robinson (heel/knee), linebacker Myles Jack (knee), and cornerback Tyson Campbell (shoulder), to name a few.
Griffin left the Jags’ last game before the first half with his injury. The injury possibly came on a play where he hit 49ers receiver Brandon Aiyuk during a 30-plus yard reception, but was unable to wrap him up.
Griffin’s injury will leave the Jags without their top cornerback, but with the Falcons’ passing offense ranking 21st, the Jags’ chances to win shouldn’t be significantly hurt. In fact, at one point, oddsmakers had the Falcons down as just 1.5-point favorites.
The Jags could roll with Tre Herndon as the starter in Griffin’s place. They also could roll with Nevin Lawson, who replaced Griffin last Sunday as Herndon was inactive.
As for the Falcons, linebacker Deion Jones (shoulder) and Running back Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) was ruled questionable. For a full preview of their full injury report, head here to the Falcons Wire for more.
