The Jacksonville Jaguars had five players surface on their injury report Wednesday for their season finale against Indy. Three of those players didn’t participate in practice in running back James Robinson (ankle) and receivers D.J. Chark (shin) and Collin Johnson (hamstring).

Coach Doug Marrone informed the media that Robinson was likely to miss Sunday’s game, while Johnson was certain to miss it as they continue to deal with the injuries they sustained Week 15 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Chark, on the other hand, sustained his injury Sunday against the Chicago Bears. However, unlike Robinson and Johnson, Marrone told the media that he was unsure of the third-year receiver’s status for Sunday.

With Robinson likely out, the Jags will have a tall task on their hands when it comes to defeating the Colts as he’s been their most consistent weapon on offense. He currently ranks third in rushing in the entire NFL with 1,070 yards and had been putting up an Offensive Rookie of the Year type season.

If Robinson is absent from the lineup Sunday, the Jags will likely lean on Dare Ogunbowale to start in his place as they did Sunday against the Bears. The third-year player made the most of his 14 carries Week 16, garnering 71 total yards on the ground.

As for the absence of Johnson and the potential absence of Chark, both will clearly cripple the Jags’ offense even more. Chark currently leads the team in receiving with over 700 yards while Johnson has become a favorite target of veteran quarterback Mike Glennon. That said, the Jags may have to promote some help from the practice squad as Josh Hammond, Damion Willis, and Terry Godwin are all available for promotions if needed.
