The Jacksonville Jaguars escaped their Week 3 loss to the Arizona Cardinals without any significant injuries, which could put them close to 100% when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals on “Thursday Night Football.” However, there were two new additions to the injury report in starting offensive linemen Andrew Norwell (ankle) and Cam Robinson (shoulder), both of whom temporarily exited Sunday’s game and were limited on Monday.
Cornerback Tre Herndon, who had been recovering from an MCL sprain since Week 1 of the preseason, was a full participant in practice for the first time this regular season. As one of the Jags’ most experienced defensive backs, that’s great news as he is now on track to play against the Bengals where he’d be inserted into the starting nickel cornerback position.
The other returning member to the injury report was defensive lineman Roy Roberstson-Harris (ankle), who was limited like Robinson and Norwell. He surfaced on the injury report last week and wasn’t able to play, so his name will be one to monitor with a short week to prepare.
