The Jacksonville Jaguars took the Minnesota Vikings into an extra quarter in their battle Sunday, but they still weren’t quite able to put one in the win column. As a result they fell to 1-11, which still is the second-worst record in the league, only under the winless New York Jets.

Their place in the NFL’s order record-wise also reflected in USA Today’s latest power rankings by Nate Davis as he ranked the Jags No. 31 this week. While the Jags added another one in the loss column, Davis made it a point to mention one of the Jags’ bright spots in running back James Robinson, who inched towards another historic achievement.

31. Jaguars (31): RB James Robinson likely won’t win offensive rookie of the year honors, but he’s 51 yards from setting a record for yards from scrimmage for an undrafted first-year player in the common-draft era.

Robinson has been the Jags’ most consistent player and a big surprise in the eyes of the league after going undrafted in April out of Illinois State. He fell just short of 80 rushing yards (78) Sunday, but was able to garner his seventh rushing touchdown of the season. He also was able to contribute 30 yards on the receiving end as the Jags shared the wealth against Minnesota.

As for the rest of the AFC South, the Tennessee Titans came in ahead of everyone at the No. 8 spot. The Indianapolis Colts were behind them at the No. 13 spot, while the Houston Texans were third at the No. 23 spot.
