The Jacksonville Jaguars came out of Week 1 pretty healthy although they lost to the Houston Texans, and as a result, they only had one player who didn’t practice on Wednesday. That player was cornerback Tre Herndon, who continues to recover from an MCL sprain he sustained Week 1 of the preseason.
While his status was “DNP,” the good news is that Herndon was seen at practice working on the side with Lerentee McCray, so he’s slowly making his way back to the field.

The Jags had three others on the injury report in pass-rushers Lerentee McCray (hamstring) and Jordan Smith (knee), and cornerback Tyson Campbell (calf) all of whom were limited. Campbell and Smith were on the injury report last week, making McCray the only new addition.
