The Jacksonville Jaguars may have looked like the worst team in football, but they haven’t found themselves at the bottom of USA Today’s power rankings yet. However, they are getting pretty close.
The Cardiac Cats came in at the No. 30 spot of Week 14’s edition of the power rankings with only the New York Giants (No. 31) and Cincinnati Bengals (No. 32) below them.
Our comrade Nate Davis was quick to point out something we’ve harped on since last month, and that’s the fact that the Jags have been losing handily and the fact that a reboot is coming.
30. Jaguars (30): All you need to know about their recent play is they’ve lost five straight by at least 17 points for first time in club history. Reboot.
The Jags lost their fourth consecutive game Sunday courtesy of the Los Angeles Chargers. It was their worst showing of the year as they fell by a score of 45-10 and are now 4-9. To make matters worse, the Jags are now guaranteed to have their 10th losing season in 12 years.
Luckily, they will be up against another team in the Oakland Raiders this week, who also have been blown out in several of their last games. Then again, when considering the Jags’ struggles on the West Coast, Week 15’s game may be hard to watch, too.
