The Jacksonville Jaguars had a few changes to their injury report Thursday, including three upgrades, a downgrade, and a player who returned from injured reserve.
The players who were upgraded were offensive linemen starting Cam Robinson (shoulder), tight end Tyler Eifert (shoulder), and Brandon Linder (back), who went from limited on Wednesday to full on Thursday. Robinson surfaced on the injury report after exiting Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
However, Linder missed Sunday’s game but is expected to play Sunday according to coach Doug Marrone.
As for Eifert, he went from sitting out Wednesday’s session, to limited participation Thursday.
The player who was downgraded was starting rookie cornerback C.J. Henderson, who was limited Wednesday but didn’t practice Thursday. As previously reported, this led to Henderson being sent to injured reserve for three games. With him out for Sunday’s game against the Pittsburg Steelers, the Jags top-3 corners are Sidney Jones IV, Tre Herndon, and Chris Claybrooks.
Speaking of the cornerback position, D.J. Hayden (hamstring) was cleared to return from IR. He surfaced on the injury report as limited, which could be a positive sign for a Week 11 return. That would help give the Jags more experience in the secondary with Henderson out.
