Jacque Vaughn confirms Joe Harris’ status for both Game 3 and 4

The Brooklyn Nets will need to get creative with their offense against the Toronto Raptors.

After the Brooklyn Nets blew their Game 3 lead but still nearly managed to force overtime against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, the franchise announced it would be without one its top three players from the Disney bubble roster for a period of time.

Joe Harris had to leave the bubble for a non-medical personal matter.

The Nets also added in their announcement that, “the status of his return will be updated as information becomes available.” On Thursday, Nets interim head coach Jacque Vaughn was able to provide reporters with some level of an update on the Brooklyn sharpshooter on his Zoom call, per Alex Schiffer of The Athletic.

Vaughn told reporters Harris will not only be unavailable for Game 3 on Friday, but he’ll also be out for Game 4 on Sunday — which could be Brooklyn’s last of the 2020 NBA Playoffs with the way things have gone.

Harris is an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season.
