Well, the end of Jabari Walker’s time in Boulder might have arrived.
The Colorado Buffaloes star entered the NBA Draft but kept his college eligibility and then earned an invite to the NBA Draft Combine.
Plus, Walker reportedly hired an agent, although head coach Tad Boyle came out and refuted that and said no decision on Walker’s future had been made.
Then, the Buffs watched Walker perform well at the NBA Combine and land Yale transfer Jalen Gabbidon.
All of that is basically hinting that Walker is headed for the NBA. Even after the NBA Combine ended, Walker headed to Santa Barbara to participate in the BDA Sports Pro Day and drew the attention of another high-profile draft expert.

All of these are terrific signs for Walker’s status as the NBA Draft is still a way out. But, the chances of him being selected with one of the 60 choices keep growing by the day, or so it seems.
Mike Schmitz also had a sit down with Walker and got to pick his brain a bit.
Great time breaking down film with former Colorado forward Jabari Walker this afternoon in Santa Barbara. Still just 19 years old, the 6-8 Walker had a strong showing at the NBA Combine averaging 14 PTS and 7 REBS over two games while shooting 40% from 3. Skilled and versatile. pic.twitter.com/9CozeLzoCE

He has been a regular second-round pick in various mock drafts, and if he keeps impressing draft experts, he might just sneak into the backend of Round 1.
If you are hoping for Walker to return to Boulder, it might be time to watch that dream vanish and instead hope for him to have a successful NBA career.
