Former Duke basketball star [autotag]Jabari Parker[/autotag] might not be in the NBA anymore, but he’s still got some explosiveness in him overseas.
During a Sunday game for FC Barcelona, in the Liga Endesa semifinals series, Parker slashed through the paint in a single dribble before throwing down a one-handed dunk over Edy Tavares.
Tavares, for reference, is 7-foot-3. Parker still sent him to the hardwood with the slam.
The bucket cut Madrid’s lead to three points and gave Parker 18 of his team’s first 47 points for the game.
Parker, who gave Blue Devils fans one of the best freshmen seasons in program history before going second overall in the 2014 NBA draft. He played for six teams across his eight-year NBA career, including a career-high 20.1 points per game during his third season.
Multiple ACL tears in his left knee cut his stateside career short. He last played in the NBA with the Boston Celtics during the 2021-22 season. He only appeared in 12 games that season.

Despite Parker’s electric moment and 27 points for the game overall, Real Madrid eventually prevailed with a 95-92 victory. The victory gave Madrid a 3-0 victory in the semifinal series, eliminating Madrid from the championship chase.
