Ja Morant thanks Grizzlies teammates after trade with the Heat

With the Grizzlies set to trade several players, Morant thanked his teammates for their time together this season.

With the 2020 NBA trade deadline approaching, the Memphis Grizzlies have been among the most active teams around the league after dealing several players to new teams.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Grizzlies sent Andre Iguodala, Jae Crowder and Solomon Hill to the Miami Heat in exchange for Justise Winslow, Dion Waiters and James Johnson.

In addition to that transaction, the Grizzlies also reportedly acquired forward Jordan Bell from the Houston Rockets for Bruno Caboclo. Bell was traded to the Rockets on Wednesday from the Minnesota Timberwolves.

With the Grizzlies set to move on from several players, rookie Ja Morant sent his love to his former veteran teammates for their mentorship and friendship this season.

Though the group was only together for just over half of the season, it is evident the Grizzlies were rather close on and off of the floor during their time together.

The Grizzlies are in eighth place this season with a 26-25 record.
