Memphis Grizzlies rookie Ja Morant briefly left the game on Monday night against the Indiana Pacers after taking a scary fall into a baseline camera operator at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
With less than a minute left in the second quarter, Morant drove the ball up the court for a layup attempt. The shot was instead blocked and Morant took a hard fall onto the court where a camera operator was stationed.
Morant had to be helped off of the court and even pointed to his back at one point. Once play resumed after halftime, Morant eventually checked back into the game with just over nine minutes remaining in the third period.
Despite leaving the game briefly, Morant still finished with his second career double-double after recording 19 points and 10 assists in the 126-114 loss.

While his performance was certainly impressive, the Grizzlies are certainly just happy to see he wasn’t seriously hurt after appearing to hurt his back in the fall.
