Social media has its positives and negatives regarding recruiting, as some information regarding various prospects taking campus visits creates healthy and unhealthy discourse.
Texas A&M’s social media team, however, is one of the best in the business when it comes to showing off everything the Aggies offer. During another busy recruiting weekend, 2024 four-star tight end Caleb Odom looked entirely in his element while donning the Maroon and White.
Odom is one of the rising prospects in the 2024 cycle, currently positioned as the 68th-ranked player in the cycle, the 4th-ranked tight end prospect, and the 11th-ranked player in Georgia, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

Standing at 6-5 and 215 pounds, he has received over 33 offers. At the same time, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Miami, and Texas A&M remain in stiff competition; Odom’s potential as a seam buster and versatile receiving options proves that the tight end position has morphed into a hybrid outside wide receiver, which can also in-line block.
During his 2022 junior season at Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Georgia, Odom, a high-volume target, recording 64 receptions for 1,121 yards and 13 touchdowns, flexed out to the X receiver position at a high rate. Thank Texas A&M tight-end coach and offensive analyst Miles Fishback for their progress with one of the best players in the 2024 class.
