If there were still Boston Celtics fans holding out hope of an Isaiah Thomas return, the man himself seemingly put the notion to bed on Twitter on Jan. 31.
The beloved 5-foot-9 floor general replied to a tweet from popular Celtics blogger Dan Greenberg as Greenberg attempted to talk an IT – Boston reunion into existence, saying “I always appreciate the love bro. I’ve tried to make it happen. It’s over for coming back killa”. Thomas, who rose to fame with an underdog Celtics roster rocketing back into prominence early after an unexpected brief rebuild fueled in part by his offensive proclivities.

But it doesn’t seem he thinks it will be with the Celtics, to the dismay of many.
