They currently sit at the bottom of the Western Conference, and it’s almost definitely going to remain that way for the rest of the season. However, they have a very bright future ahead of them, and that’s all due to Victor Wembanyama.
The 20-year-old Frenchman has been amazing in his rookie season. He leads the league in blocks, is making highlight-reel plays on a nightly basis, and looks like he has the skills to be one of the best players in the association. But what if he already is?
The Locked On Spurs podcast recently discussed whether or not Wembanyama is already a top-10 player in the NBA.
It may be a bit of a stretch to say that Wembanyama is already among the top 10 players in the league, but at the pace with which he’s improving, he could be in that mix very, very soon.
