Is Tyreek Hill playing today? Injury updates for Dolphins WR

Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is dealing with a wrist injury. Here are the latest updates.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is questionable for a Week 18 game against the New York Jets due both to a wrist injury he’s dealt with since August and an illness that kept him out of practice Friday.

Last week, Dolphins wide receivers coach Wes Welker also revealed that Hill has been dealing with an ankle injury, but the issue hasn’t popped up on any injury reports.

There hasn’t been much info about the severity of the illness that kept Hill out of practice. Little has been made about the status of Hill this week with no comments from Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel about the receiver’s health.

That’s largely due to the fact that Hill has made frequent appearances on the injury report this season, but hasn’t missed a game. Week 18 is the fifth time Hill has been listed as questionable.

All indications are that he’ll be able to play Sunday against the Jets.

It’d be costly if Hill is out of action, as the team’s other starting wide receiver, Jaylen Waddle, is also banged up and questionable due to a knee injury. Behind that duo is rookie Malik Washington, veteran River Cracraft, return specialist Dee Eskridge, and Erik Ezukanma, who was signed from the team’s practice squad last week.
