The San Antonio Spurs are just 3-3 on the season, but considering where expectations were to start the year, that’s better than most believed. A big part of their early success has been rookie Victor Wembanyama. There was a ton of hype around Wembanyama coming out of the draft, but he’s somehow managed to exceed it.
Wembanyama has been a walking human highlight reel, churning out monster blocks and big-time scoring performances. He’s led the Spurs to a few key wins, including two over the Phoenix Suns, and his early dominance has some people asking some intriguing questions about his play this season.
