Rob Havenstein has missed the last two games with an ankle injury suffered against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 9. He’s been on the field for practices the last two weeks but he’s been unable to suit up and it sounds like he’ll make it three straight inactives on Sunday.
Below are the latest updates on Havenstein ahead of the Rams’ matchup with the Eagles on Sunday Night Football.
Rob Havenstein injury update
Havenstein is officially listed as doubtful and more than likely, he won’t play against the Eagles. The Rams will have a few extra hours to decide on his status with it being a night game but most players end up being inactive when they’re considered doubtful.
How long will Rob Havenstein be out?
It’s unclear how much longer Havenstein will be out, assuming he misses his third straight game tonight. Sean McVay said there hasn’t been a setback in his ankle rehab, he just hasn’t progressed as quickly as they thought.
“He’s practiced this week in a limited capacity and he’s been able to – he looks good, but is he quite ready to be the Rob that we’re all accustomed to seeing? That’s why he’s listed as doubtful right now,” he said.
Rams RT depth chart
Warren McClendon Jr. and Joe Noteboom are both available. After McClendon played well against the Patriots last week, the Rams are likely to continue with him at right tackle.
