The Philadelphia 76ers will look much different when the season tips off on Dec. 22. The last time we saw the Sixers, they were being swept in Round 1 of the playoffs back in August by the Boston Celtics.
Since then, the team has made sweeping changes up and down their organization. They have a new head coach, a President of Basketball Operations, and they have added some interesting pieces to their roster that fit around stars Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid.
President Daryl Morey has been pretty active on social media since he took over the job and on Saturday, he found a Sixers lineup he liked on Twitter.
I am also excited to see this lineup https://t.co/uu2o3lPnCL

Of course, this does not mean much. It is not an endorsement or anything, but this lineup does make sense for them moving forward.
Simmons moving back to the point guard spot after a brief time at power forward in the bubble allows the team to move Tobias Harris back to his natural position at power forward. Those moves would also allow the team to surround them with terrific shooters in Seth Curry and Danny Green.
Philadelphia would be able to have the proper spacing around Simmons and Embiid and the team would be able to operate much more smoothly on offense. [lawrence-related id=39591,39588,39585]
