There are just a few weeks left in the 2023 college baseball regular season, and the North Carolina Tar Heels have work to do.
After a good start, UNC has stumbled over the past month, losing key series in the ACC. Those losses didn’t kill their NCAA Tournament chances, but they have fallen.
The Tar Heels are considered in the field as of early May on NCAA.com’s projections. They moved into the “IN” projection from the last version, which is good news.
BUT, there isn’t much room for error. The Wolfpack are one of the last five teams in.
After a weekend off, the Tar Heels return to action on Tuesday, hosting Gardner-Webb before a big three-game series against NC State from Thursday-Saturday.
With just a few weeks left, every game is an important one for the Diamond Heels.
