Is LSU the scariest game remaining for Texas A&M?

Could LSU pose a threat to Texas A&M’s season?

We’ve not seen the words “LSU” and “scariest game” used in the same sentence very often this season, and if it has, it has probably not been positively spun in LSU’s direction.

247Sports writer Austin Nivison put out a list of every top 25 team’s scariest game remaining. According to the list, LSU is No. 14 Texas A&M’s scariest game remaining on the schedule.

What 247Sports Said…

The Aggies do have some tough games left, including at home against Auburn and on the road against Ole Miss, but the regular season finale against LSU will be dangerous. It’s on the road in Death Valley and will serve as a send off for Ed Orgeron. The Tigers would love to play spoiler against their SEC West rival.

ESPN’s FPI gives Texas A&M a 58.6% chance to beat LSU to end the regular season. If LSU is able to get a momentum-building win over Arkansas later this year, beating the Aggies is definitely in the realm of possibility.

Since Texas A&M joined the SEC in 2012, the Tigers have owned the series 7-2. LSU owns the overall series mark 34-22-3, the Aggies won last year 20-7 in College Station. The home team hasn’t lost a home game to the Aggies since 1994.
