Sunday, the Amway Coaches Poll presented by USA TODAY unveiled its final rankings for the 2020 regular season.
For the final poll, coaches’ own personal ballots were revealed to readers, as is tradition.
Interestingly enough, LSU football head coach Ed Orgeron ranked the Bulldogs No. 15 in the nation, despite many coaches pumping up their own conference.
The speculation around social media was that Orgeron could still be salty with Georgia’s Kirby Smart after an offseason of events correlating to each program’s recruiting efforts.
In addition, one fan thought Orgeron ranking the Bulldogs 15th may be a ‘middle finger’ to Georgia for potentially landing former five-star tight end Arik Gilbert behind the scenes.

Coach O is just a little salty about Arik Gilbert. Kirby made obvious comments and play calls focused on his “recruitment”.

Is Orgeron dogging Georgia for having two-losses and a lack of quality wins or is he truly salty with Smart and the Dawgs, hinting at something else?
Only time will tell.
