The biggest question that many Auburn fans had over the course of the offseason was how Bo Nix would be able to look on the road this year.
Penn State was his first chance. A very hostile White Out environment that has been a huge talking point all week.
At the half, Nix is currently 11-17 for 99 yards. He has no touchdowns or picks but did have a pass that should have been a pick-six by Penn State at the end of the second quarter.
For what it’s worth, I think Nix looks more comfortable in this environment than he has in the past. He isn’t leaving the pocket as often and is making good choices in the passing game. Accuracy is the biggest concern moving forward into the second half but he has done a good job protecting the football other than the careless pass at the end of the half.
Auburn fans took to Twitter to voice their opinions of how Nix looked on his first half on the road during the Bran Harsin era.
Big answer from Auburn. They won't be overwhelmed by the crowd and noise. Bo Nix looks like a much improved passer. He struggled on the road in the past, but is hanging in there tonight.

I like the new Bo and coaching staff on the road facing adversity. Now alleys see what the defense does https://t.co/rlNRJFqJuD

Bo Nix has a record of 2-6 on the road against ranked opponents. When you factor in quality SEC loses, he’s 67-0.
