Cincinnati Bengals wideout Ja’Marr Chase is one of four players in team history to make the NFL Top 100 in three consecutive years (and counting).
But Chase’s appearance on the list voted by his fellow players is interesting this time out—he’s ranked No. 45.
That seems a little low for a player who is easily in the top five at his position outright, if not top three. But this ranking is his lowest yet, as he checked in at No. 24 in 2022 and then fell to No. 39 last year.
Granted, the list technically focuses on the prior season. But Chase put up 1,216 yards and seven scores while averaging better than 12 yards per catch despite the turmoil at the quarterback position.
Alas, perhaps this is something Chase can use as motivation heading into his fourth season, though his training camp has started with minimal participation as he seeks an extension.
