Aldana (13-6 MMA, 6-4 UFC) hasn’t fought since July 2021 when she defeated Yana Kunitskaya in a first round TKO back at UFC 264. She was scheduled to return at UFC 273 in April, but was forced to withdraw from the bout due to injury. The Mexican is currently 3-1 in her past four contests.
Meanwhile, Chiasson (8-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC), winner of The Ultimate Fighter 28, is coming off a split decision win over Norma Dumont in May at UFC 274. She’s also 3-1 in her past for outings and has recently competed at women’s featherweight, but will return to 135 pounds for the clash with Aldana.
